About Us
We are a group coached club, running out from centres and School in Law Carluke & Lanark on routes which accommodate all paces; both plodders & speedsters will gain from clyderunners. In Carluke, we meet at the front of the Leisure Centre, by the High School whilst in Lanark, we meet up outside the Lifestyles Centre. In Law it is just next to Law Primary School. The days and times are as follows; Monday 8pm Law. Tuesday 6.30 Carluke. Friday 9.15am Lanark. Friday 6pm Carluke. Sunday 9.30am Carluke/Law. the Sunday runs alternates between Law and Carluke. Runs are updated on facebook regularly.

Some clyderunner members may be training for a race; a 10k or a half marathon; others may simply want to run to gain or keep fitness. Regular training sessions are scheduled to assist members to achieve their best in these upcoming events but will benefit those who have no wish to take part in a formal race setting.
We wish to actively encourage everyone who shares our social running ambitions to come along and join us. Members are required to take responsibility for their own safety during runs, as well as actively watching out for others, so prior experience of road running is essential. We suggest that in order to be able to benefit from the training programme you should be comfortable running for around an 40 minutes to an hour.
For beginners, there is an excellent Jogscotland programme in Carluke; https://carlukejogscotland.co.uk with very good structured coached programmes.
Correspondence to clyderunners, including membership applications, may best sent through e-mail to clyderunners@hotmail.co.uk
Payment of annual dues should be made direct to the Treasurer at one of the club meet-ups
(regrettably, e-mailed copies of a £10.00 note cannot be accepted :-))
The club is more about you than us!
Forms and Stuff
It is expected that members of clyderunners (& guests) are experienced joggers/runners who are aware from their experience of risks which may arise to themselves and the general public at large from running in public.
To assist this further we have put together a risk assessment and members are expected to make themselves aware of this as part of their participation in the club. Risk Assessment - Issue No 1.1 (110114).pdf (124962)
constitution - Issue No 2.0 - Agreed at AGM (310114).pdf (225,3 kB)
